Disappointing Movies

I have seen a couple of awful new release DVDs lately.  Last week Bryan and I watched Fool’s Gold, a terrible movie starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson.  I loved both of them in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, but Fool’s Gold was incomparable to that.  The plot was boring and predictable and the acting wasn’t that great.  I am very happy that I did not see this movie in the theater. We also watched Mama’s Boy the other night, starring Jonathan Heder.  I did not have very high expectations for this one, thank goodness.  It was also boring and did not keep my attention at all.  On top of a predictable plot, Mama’s Boy was also very corny/unoriginal.   Out of the two, I really am not sure which was worse.  I can’t imagine sitting through either of them again, let’s just put it that way.
