Thursday Thirteen #14
Today is a beautiful fall day, and here are thirteen things I would love to be doing instead of sitting in a cubicle.
- Planting spring bulbs. I have tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths that I need to plant, and this is the perfect type of day to spend doing so.
- Decorating my front porch. I want to get some corn stalks and another pumpkin or two to create a festive home.
- Training my puppies on the boundaries of our new invisible wireless fence.
- Going to the park for a relaxing walk or bike ride.
- Going to the dog park to let the hounds run like wild.
- Baking anything with apples or pumpkins. I don’t even like pumpkin that much, but I have this strange urge to make a pumpkin pie from scratch.
- Painting my bathroom. It may not be fun, but it needs to be done, especially now that I have the perfect color, “Bon Voyage,” that matches my “Poire” and “Pomme” paintings.
- Reading a good book while basking in the crisp weather.
- Running errands. I am weird, but I usually enjoy running errands, especially on a nice day.
- Scrapbooking. I am over a year behind in my scrapbook, and I need to catch up!
- Taking a nice nap with the windows open.
- Pumpkin picking. I am obsessed with picking fresh produce, and pumpkins are no exception. I bet the patches would be dead on a weekday!
- Anything but sitting in a cubicle.. I guess today is just one of those days. :)
