It is days like these that I wish I was still in college.  It’s a perfect Fall day with the sun shining and the temperature a nice crisp 60°.  I look back just two years ago and remember getting out of class and hanging out with friends, “studying” in the Law Quad and enjoying the outdoors.  Now I don’t have homework or assignments to take home with me for the nights and weekends, but I am inside from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. each day. 

I guess there are pros and cons of both situations, but if education wasn’t so expensive I would probably go back to school.  Law school or to get an MBA, I am not sure.  Or maybe just for Political Science.

But alas, Bryan and I reviewed our goals for the next few years last night and came up with a bit of a plan, and that plan does not involve me going back to school.  We both want to start a family in the next few years and at that point I will want to mostly be a stay-at-home mom/wife, so it doesn’t make sense to get more education now just to sit on it.  Not to mention the cost to do so… 

Oh, and I told Bryan that I don’t want anything for our first anniversary coming up on September 22, but that I would rather us just go on a really nice trip this winter to someplace warm!!  So in light of that I borrowed a few Caribbean books from the library to search out the perfect place. The first choice to tackle is cruise or resort.  Neither of us has cruised before, so it’s a tough decision!  Either way, I look forward to planning the trip!
